- On October 18, 2021, Philadelphia DHS released their Quarterly Indicators Report for Quarter 4 of Fiscal Year 2021.
- On October 20, 2021, Philadelphia DHS released a RFP for applicants to provide the Healthy Families America (HFA) program city-wide to at-risk families in the City of Philadelphia, with special attention to high risk, pregnant and parenting youth. This RFP is following the guidance of the Family First Prevention Services Act of 2018 (Family First) which reformed federal child welfare financing streams to provide services to families who are at risk of entering child welfare systems. Philadelphia DHS, in response to Family First and the recently released PA Department of Human Services Children, Youth, and Families Division (PA DHS) issued bulletin 3130-21-03, is soliciting interested agencies with experience implementing evidence-based programs, to service this newly eligible population for prevention services. This RFP closes on November 12, 2021.
