PerformCare – Re-Credentialing Process and Requirements

PerformCare released notice AD 21 111: Re-Credentialing Process and Requirements (PDF) to clarify the timelines for the provider re-credentialing processes and to emphasize that providers who do not comply with the re-credentialing timelines will be recommended for termination from the PerformCare provider network to the PerformCare Credentialing Committee.

PerformCare also wants to re-share the following documents with providers to help with the re-credentialing process:

PerformCare – CRR and RTF Authorization Updates

PerformCare has updated the following policies and procedures:

Provider notice MH 22 100: CRR and RTF Authorization Updates (PDF) communicates these changes as they relate to the maximum authorization length:

  • RTF authorizations will be generated for a maximum of 90 days (currently 120 days).
  • CRR-HH authorizations will be generated for a maximum of four months (currently six months).

CBH requests that Providers complete the survey by 12:00 p.m. on the last day of each month.

Beacon Health Options of Pennsylvania – Provider Alert Reminder: COVID-19 Reporting Tool for All Beacon In-Network Providers

This communication is a reminder that if new COVID-19 cases are confirmed or suspected within your staff or the individuals you support, Beacon requires the submission of a Beacon Health Options of Pennsylvania COVID-19 Reporting Form. Please read the Provider Alert (Alert # 4.20.9) below, originally issued September 24, 2020, as a reminder.

Beacon Health Options of Pennsylvania – Important Training Opportunity for Beacon Health Options of Pennsylvania Providers and Their Billing Personnel

Effective March 1, 2022, Beacon Health Options (“Beacon”) will be transitioning to the Availity Essentials Provider Portal; this includes Beacon Health Options of Pennsylvania. 

Availity Essentials will become the preferred portal for verifying eligibility and benefits, claim status and other secure transactions for Beacon. To prepare for this transition, Availity Essentials will be hosting Beacon provider and support staff training sessions. During these training sessions, Availity Essentials will cover topics such as eligibility, benefits and claims submission. Four live sessions are offered and will be recorded and available for playback if you are unable to participate. 

In-network providers received an E-Communication from Beacon with the details. Beacon wants to support this communication for the Pennsylvania Medicaid market (Beacon Health Options of Pennsylvania) as well. Please see the E-Communication below about the Availity Essential Training.
