Community Behavioral Health (CBH) – Quality Improvement Video Training Series

CBH has developed the Quality Improvement Video Training Series, a series of short informational videos, to provide a shared Quality Improvement language and support the use of Quality Improvement tools and methodology across our organization and within our entire network of care.

The Quality Improvement Video Training Series provides an overview of Quality Improvement, methodologies, and basic tools that can be utilized across those methodologies.

Community Behavioral Health (CBH) – Panel Discussion: Improving Access to Behavioral Health

On Wednesday, December 1 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., CBH CEO Dr. Faith Dyson-Washington will participate in a panel discussion hosted by NK Architect on improving access to behavioral health services for minorities and those in underserved communities.

Dr. Dyson-Washington will join other leading experts in our region to discuss the challenges providers face when delivering behavioral health services, what lawmakers and providers are doing to improve access to these services, and how technology can help bridge this critical gap.

Community Behavioral Health (CBH) – Webinar: Keys to Effective Clinical Supervision

CBH Provider Training and Development, in collaboration with BHTEN, will host a webinar on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. for supervisory personnel looking to improve their skills on providing clinical supervision for their staff. This webinar will cover topics such as developing a supervisory alliance, review of models, methods, and techniques for effective supervision and feedback.

Community Behavioral Health (CBH) – Provider Notice: IBHS Bonus Payment

CBH has released the Provider Notice: IBHS Bonus Payment. This notice is to inform regionalized Intensive Behavioral Health Service (IBHS) providers that all providers will be eligible for a one-time bonus of up to $75,000 that will be paid in March 2022

All regionalized IBHS providers will be assessed on their service utilization based on claims submission for the fourth quarter (October 1 – December 31) of 2021. Providers will be awarded based on their claims submission rate for dates of service in the fourth quarter of 2021.

Community Behavioral Health (CBH) – Provider Notice: Request for Detailed Pay-for-Performance (P4P) Data

CBH has released the Provider Notice: Request for Detailed Pay-for-Performance (P4P) Data. This notice is to inform providers about a form to use when requesting detailed P4P data. We will provide data to only one contact per provider agency for all levels of care that your agency provides. Please allow two weeks from date of request for receipt of your data.

Effective immediately, when submitting a fax to the Customer Service fax line (855-439-2443), please make sure the fax only includes ONE member per fax.

Beacon Health Options can no longer accept faxed requests for more than one member. Please contact Customer Service at 877-615-8503 with any questions regarding this change

Beacon Health Options strives to share the most up-to-date COVID-19 information to support their Provider Community in the delivery of valuable services to those served. While you do not have to adopt any specific protocol, Beacon expects that providers will have policies that take adequate steps to protect their staff and the community. It is now coming up on two years since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, the pandemic isn’t over and may be taking a turn for the worse. We are now seeing more new cases per day in Pennsylvania than we have since January. This Alert will give you an update on COVID-19 Guidelines issued by Beacon Health Options.
