PerformCare – IBHS Written Order Update: Center-Based Recommendations

PerformCare provided a clarification in IBHS 21 108: IBHS Written Order Update: Center-Based Recommendations (PDF) on expectations for prescribing individual services or applied behavioral analysis (ABA) in a licensed Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) location or “center.”

To provide individual services or ABA in a center setting, providers must include the recommendation for “center-based” as a setting where services may be provided and the clinical rationale to support the need for individual IBHS or ABA center-based services. PerformCare also updated the IBHS Written Order Form (PDF).
