The PA Department of Human Services – Office of Children, Youth and Families (OCYF) has collaborated with the Pennsylvania State Police to make revisions to the Commonwealth Law Enforcement Assistance

The PA Department of Human Services – Office of Children, Youth and Families (OCYF) has collaborated with the Pennsylvania State Police to make revisions to the Commonwealth Law Enforcement Assistance Network (CLEAN) process outlined on page 18 of the Clearance Bulletin. Additionally, the definition for National Law Enforcement Telecommunication System was removed and a definition for CLEAN was added. Please know that the Child Protective Service Law (CPSL) has not changed and much of the information within the Clearance Bulletin is not new to practice. OCYF’s goal with releasing the updated guidance is to provide a document with all relevant clearance information in one location. Please replace the previous version you may have saved so you have the most accurate document for reference.
