RFP for Systematic Therapeutic Assessment Resources and Treatment (START)

The Department of Human Services (DHS), on behalf of Allegheny County, is seeking a provider to implement START in Allegheny County. START is a national, evidence-informed model of community-based crisis prevention and intervention for individuals with a dual diagnosis of a behavioral health disorder and a diagnosis of an intellectual disability, Autism, or an intellectual disability and Autism. START includes participant-level supports to improve outcomes for individuals and system-level coordination, consultation and training to address gaps in the developmental supports system, the behavioral health system and the crisis support continuum.
