After receiving feedback from members, PCCYFS submitted public comments to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Interim Final Rule (IFR) Medicare and Medicaid Programs: Omnibus COVID-19 Health Care Staff Vaccination. The comments requested clarity on certain ambiguities within the guidance and shared concerns around the mandate’s impact on a challenged workforce. The deadline for public comment on the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing has been extended until January 14, 2022.
