PCCYFS ANNUAL REPORT
A Year of Resilience
PRESS RELEASE: Pennsylvania Council of Children, Youth, and Family Services (PCCYFS) released their 2020-2021 Annual Report: A Year of Resilience to highlight the ways in which the association represented the needs of their members during an exceptionally challenging year.
“This year was one of innovation for PCCYFS; our members were faced with unprecedented challenges, which required us to pivot and shift in ways that we had not previously done.” said PCCYFS President and CEO, Terry L. Clark, “I am exceptionally proud of what we were able to accomplish as the united voice for children and family service providers and feel privileged to release this report highlighting our shared successes. Seeing what we were able to achieve so far leaves me with great optimism for the upcoming year.”
This past 2020-2021 membership year marked a number of shifts in the agency’s operations. The report highlights the many ways that PCCYFS honed its advocacy efforts, which resulted in meaningful wins for the child-serving sector. In addition to organizing promptly to support members’ unique needs throughout the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and at a time of great social unrest, the agency initiated a new branding effort to present a more polished PCCYFS. The report also offers a retrospective review of the organization’s strategic planning process which will guide the direction of the organization for the next three years.
