The Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS) has issued an update to the guidelines for payment of behavioral health services delivered using telehealth technology, previously issued in Bulletin OMHSAS-21-09 “Guidelines for the Delivery of Behavioral Health Services Through Telehealth.”
This Bulletin has been updated for a number of reasons that include removing the reference to service description addendums. Providers that want to provide individual services or ABA services at a center should address these services in their initial service description or in an updated service description as described in 55 Pa Code § 5240.5..........
