The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services’ Pennsylvania Academic, Career and Technical Training (PACTT) initiative announced a current grant opportunity. These grants are being offered in partnership with the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) and are limited to privately operated residential facilities, community-based providers, and county juvenile probation offices seeking to improve services for delinquent youth in the areas of academic instruction, job skills training and/or work-related services.
The goal of this funding announcement is to provide a fiscal incentive for these types of programs to qualify to become a PACTT Affiliate. Please note that the maximum amount of these grants are set at $20,000 and applications are due June 24, 2022. However, upon successfully becoming a PACTT affiliate and available funds agencies will qualify for additional non-competitive grants issued by PACTT and PCCD. Below you will find a soft copy of the grant announcement and a document prepared by PCCD to help agencies prepare for the submission of their grant application. Additional information related to this and other grant opportunities can be found on PCCD’s Egrants website. Agencies can also find information about the PACTT project, to include a list of agencies already affiliated with the project at the following website: http://www.pactt-alliance.org/Pages/default.aspx
