DHS Joint Bulletin regarding referral of youth to County ID/A programs

The Department of Human Services (DHS), specifically the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP), the Office of Children, Youth, and Families (OCYF), the Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL), the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS), and the Office of Medical Assistance Programs (OMAP) are proud to release the DHS joint bulletin entitled, “Referring Children to the County Intellectual Disability and Autism Programs

This bulletin offers guidance on the process of referring a child who has, or is suspected to have a diagnosis of an intellectual disability, developmental disability, and/or autism (ID/DD/A).
