Vicarious Trauma, Compassion Fatigue, Burnout and Self-care: A Guide for Human Service Professionals

Have you ever experienced feeling very physically and emotionally tired after working with others or found an inability to meet desired outcomes? If you are in the field of human services and are guiding and supporting others, then you are at risk of vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue, and/or professional burn-out. Knowing ourselves and how to best counter the effects of supporting others, especially during challenging times, is a must for all human service professionals. Join us as we explore these conditions and how to best identify and treat them for ourselves and others.
