As professionals it is necessary to consider the ethical use of technology. In the past 15 years technology has become beneficial to the delivery of quality professional services, however, the use of technology can also cross ethical standards. For example: are we doing all we need to do to safeguard against breaches of confidentiality? Are we asking for informed consent before a client internet search is conducted? Are we maintaining ethical boundaries within the agency and with clients? Are we preparing clients to use technology in the most effective way possible? Attend this workshop to answer these questions and so much more. This workshop is for all levels of staff, from the director who leads the development of technology policies within the agency to our direct staff who are using technology daily with their consumers.
