Engaging Families Experiencing Opioid Use, Addiction, and Recovery

This course will provide information about indicators of opioid use, and the way that the cycle of addiction and recovery has an impact on parenting. Participants will be able to understand what effect these factors have on a parent’s ability to manage parenting and their households.

Learning Objectives:

(1)Identify the effects of opioid use, addiction and recovery on child development, (2) Identify warning signs of opioid use and abuse

(3 )Discuss the five components of recovery.
