Documentation for Caseworkers (Abbreviated version)

This course will cover how to write thorough and professional case notes (and other common documents) used in prevention and child welfare agencies throughout Pennsylvania.  Some of the topics covered include: how to effectively use professional language in documentation; utilizing the DAP format to write case notes; common grammatical mistakes and how to avoid making them. There is also a section on the effect of procrastination on quality writing and techniques to break this habit.

This is an abbreviated version of the full series, therefore there will be less content covered, and fewer opportunities for participants to have their writing evaluated and critiqued.
