Governor Tom Wolf has declared the week of June 13 – 17, Child Welfare Service Providers Appreciation Week, in special recognition of the efforts of the child welfare providers serving the children of
Pennsylvania. He has also signed an order acknowledging June 6 – 10 as Child Welfare Professionals Appreciation Week.
These occasions will be recognized at an event at the Capitol Rotunda on June 6 from 11:00AM – 12:00PM. Family representatives, providers, and prominent state and local officials will join PCCYFS and the Pennsylvania Children and Youth Administrators (PCYA) in recognizing the important individuals who work tirelessly for the benefit of Pennsylvania’s children and families.
