Department of Human Services (DHS) released FAQ’s information to assist with questions providers may have on this Act.
Please see the FAQ‘s for Act 2 of 2022 (a result of House Bill 253) that the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services released related to questions surrounding payments to eligible acute care hospitals, critical access hospitals, and children’s behavioral health hospitals based on licensed bed capacity. The PA Department of Health (DOH) is assisting PA DHS in determining hospital eligibility and licensed bed capacity.
