The PCCYFS Training Institute is available to organize on-demand training sessions both in-person or virtual for clinical teams, foster parent groups, social workers, probation officers, teachers, and other relevant stakeholders. The Training Institute will take care of all the administrative details of these trainings, including finding a trainer, scheduling at a time that works best for your team, certificates of attendance, and other specifics. You can select from our list of pre-existing training topics or we can design a curriculum for your group. Rates start at $200/hour.
Training Rates & Requests
Two-hour webinars are $40 for PCCYFS members, and $60 for the public. PCCYFS can also invoice your agency after the training.
In-person training sessions and longer webinars may have a different rate, but will be indicated at registration.
Many of our sessions are available for an agency to purchase solely for its own staff. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
Certificates will be processed only for those who are actively engaged. This is verified by participation in polls, verbal/chat responses, and log in time. Attendance less than 50 minutes per 1 hour scheduled, will be considered unsatisfactory.
Cancellations will be accepted up to one hour prior to the scheduled web-based course or registration deadline, whichever comes first. Non-attending registrants will incur for their agency the same fee as if they had attended. Cancellation information can be found in the registration details. All substitutions must be sent to email@example.com.
Cancellations for in-person sessions, must be 3 business days prior to the course or registration deadline, whichever comes first. If a registrant must cancel within the 72-hour timeframe due to an emergency, he/she will be able to roll over the registration fee for a future session. All cancellations/substitutions must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. No-shows on the day of the training will not be able to roll over the fee.
Act 48 credits for teachers and educators are available upon request with a $10 processing fee for sessions as indicated in the course description. Credits are available through a partnership with the Capital Area Intermediate Unit.
CEUs for social workers, counselors, therapists are available upon request with a $10 processing fee.
PCCYFS will maintain electronic and on-site records for two years; after two years, records will be sent to storage. You may apply for CEUs if the evaluation was completed in a timely manner
The Pennsylvania Council of Children Youth & Family Services (PCCYFS) #SWPR004114 is approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors to offer continuing education for social workers, marriage and family therapists and professional counselors. PCCYFS maintains responsibility for the program(s).
Please note that you may only apply for CEUs, Act 48 or CLE credits for courses where noted in the registration information. You may not receive more than one type of credit for a single course.

Group Webinar Verification Form
This is primarily for foster parents who have attended together or staff members who have shared a registration link with colleagues.
This form allows you to provide feedback on your training experience and must be completed in order to receive your certificate of attendance/CEUs.
We are always in search of trainers to diversify our roster. We train across the Commonwealth virtually and in-person as circumstances allow.
Our preference is someone with experience or a degree in child welfare, education, human or social services, behavioral health, however other credentials may be considered.
