PCCYFS met with members on multiple occasions to discuss and gather feedback for the PRTF regulations which were open for public comment from 11.2.24 to 12.2.24. Below are the comments PCCYFS submitted. These comments are also available for public viewing on the Independent Regulatory Review Committee (IRRC) website. These regulations will codify the minimum licensing standards and Medical Assistance participation requirements and payment conditions for psychiatric residential treatment facilities which treat certain children, youth or young adults under 21 years of age.
PCCYFS received a letter that Representatives Warren and Heffley sent to the IRRC echoing the same concerns with the proposed PRTF regulations as stated below:
