Bullying is an all too frequent occurrence among today’s children and youth. Children in the foster care system may be especially vulnerable to bullying and mistreatment from their peers or may themselves be perpetrators of bullying. This course will teach child welfare professionals warning signs to look for and provide some techniques for dealing with bullying and young people. Participants in this training will learn about the three types of bullying, and will learn techniques to engage both bullies, and children who are victims of bullying.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations will be accepted up to one hour prior to the scheduled web-based course or registration deadline, whichever comes first. Non-attending registrants will incur for their agency the same fee as if they had attended. Cancellation information can be found in the registration details.
