PCCYFS wanted to share a succss story from one of our members, KidsPeace. Congrats to KidsPeace and Logan!!
Logan, KidsPeace high school graduate
I’m Logan Crossley, a 2017 KidsPeace high school graduate. I faced a lot of challenges while at KidsPeace. Some of the hardest days of my life were spent there. Since my time at KidsPeace I’ve done some pretty big things. In 2021, I successfully completed my bachelor’s degree in psychology. Upon finishing that I started my graduate program for Addiction Counseling. I have presented with professors, participated in research, and volunteered with Camp Connect (grief and loss day camp for children in Berks County). I’ve received a range of awards and even found myself in Chi Sigma Iota the National Counseling Honor Society.

On May 16th, I walked across the stage and obtained my master’s degree!
A milestone that came with a lot of blood, sweat, and tears. The next few months I plan to work and save a little. After though I will be heading to Pittsburgh to help open a teen inpatient facility with one of my professors – an endeavor I’d be honored to complete.
See, I might have left KidsPeace but the kid that was there has always stayed inside me. I love being a counselor and have truly thrived being able to help others. I’m grateful to be where I’m at now but I will forever remember where I came from.
