Be The Spark! PCCYFS 2017 Conference

Our annual conference brings together staff from the private and public sector, educators, consultants and others stakeholders. The annual conference offers quality, high caliber presentations on timely topics. It also provides opportunities to network with colleagues from across the Commonwealth.

Our theme for this year is Be the Spark! and we have arranged for dynamic speakers and presenters to provide information on ways to energize yourself, your organization and your work. Our first keynote, Heather Stang will speak on Transferring Suffering to Hope and our second keynote Rhonda Sciortino will speak about using the Characteristics of Successful Survivors to succeed.

Workshops have been expanded this year to address: ethics/policy, finance, education, administration and behavioral health/clinical concerns and the Institutes have a Leadership, Supervisory and Clinical track that will help participants immerse themselves in current issues.

April 5-6 2017 Harrisburg, PA

So come join us and learn how you can Be the Spark!

Welcome to

Be The Spark! Light the Way…

“You have to find what sparks a light in you so that you, in your own way, can illuminate the world.” ― Oprah Winfrey

Welcome to 2017 Pennsylvania Council for Children and Youth Services Conference - Be the Spark! Light the Way! This year’s conference celebrates our acceptance of the call to serve children, youth and families and the energy and dedication demonstrated by the private provider community. This past year, it was often difficult to keep answering that call given the shared challenges we faced. This conference creates a forum to recognize and acknowledge the persistence, ingenuity and passion that fuel our efforts to maintain the focus and drive to continue achieving quality outcomes. PCCYFS believes that by joining together in a united voice, our combined synergy will generate the sparks for solutions and alternatives. Together, the illumination of our shared successes is far stronger and brighter than any of us could imagine.

The in-depth institutes and innovative workshops offered these next two days reflect not only what you have told us you need but what we think you will find useful and thought provoking. We trust that our keynote speakers’ messages will offer you inspiration and motivation to stay true to your agency’s mission while tending to the care of your own being. During the next two days, we encourage you to network with your colleagues, open your mind to new ideas, visit with our vendors and fully engage in this professional growth opportunity.

We are very pleased and honored to share this experience with you!
